1. What is a Core-less Air Shaft?

A Coreless Shaft is a shaft that winds paper, film or foil with no core.  If the material being wound is going direct to the consumer for example, there may be no need to include a core with the roll.  By eliminating the core, the manufacturer not only saves thousands in core costs, but also eliminates the need for his customer to send the unused cores to the landfill.
